Ramos Miumiu W9 Android 2.1 device with firmware v0.18 build 214043 (other firmwares will work or not, your milage may vary - if you want to upgrade from V0.18_20101019.140808 check this article).
z4root v1.3.0, download it from XDA Developers - other versions of z4root may also work - or not.
Copy the z4root apk file to a MicroSD memory card

2) Enable USB debugging: Menu - Settings - Applications - Development - USB debugging.
3) Unmount the SDCard by selecting 'Turn off USB storage' from the notification screen on your device.
4) Then run (on your computer):
You can also use adb to check if you have root access:
A popup will apear on your Android asking you to grant access. Yes is the correct answer
